Hi! My name is Cortney, and it’s wonderful to meet you!
I relocated from Portland a few years ago, and I have been having a great time growing my clientele here in the Salem area. After 10 years of working as a Mental Health and Addictions Therapist, I decided to grow in a totally different professional direction and I went back to school – beauty school, that is! Hair and skin care/cosmetics have always been a passion of mine, and now I’m able to help clients become what they want to be in just a few hours instead over the course of several months!
I specialize in gorgeous cuts and colors, anywhere from traditional to more Avant-garde looks. My first priority is always consulting with you so that together we can create your unique look! I tend to custom-mix my hair colors so that you are able to achieve exactly what it is you desire. I also have additional education and experience with specialized color techniques such as ombre, balayage, and color blocking. Part of completing your look is demonstrating how to recreate that look at home every day; when you leave my chair you will have the confidence and skills to make sure your hair always looks great.
I also firmly believe in the power of well-groomed brows, and I offer both brow design and brow-maintenance waxing services! Day-looks, as well as theatrical and special event cosmetic applications, are also available. Plus I’ve also added custom airbrush spray tanning to my services arsenal; it’s amazing how much healthier and toned you’ll look and feel after 20 minutes with me and my airbrush gun!
I can be found at Allure Salon & Day Spa, South Salem’s premiere hair salon and spa, Monday-Friday from 10:00 to 5:00. Saturday and evenings are available by appointment only, and Allure is closed Sundays.
