Before you set out on this final pre-Christmas shopping weekend, I thought I would sent out into cyberspace a list of my best-of hair and cosmetic products perfect for stocking stuffing! Hope this helps, and Happy Holidays!!!
The Marilyn Brush
The Marilyn Brush is a 9-3/4″ long, contoured wood handled 100% boar-bristle brush. It’s pointed at one end which is perfect for parting/sectioning the hair you’re backcombing, plus the boar bristles ensure that there will be ZERO hair breakageI love this brush because on top of preserving the quality of my hair, it also creates “snarls” that aren’t stuff but stay in place.
It’s a 10 Miracle Leave-In Plus Keratin
This really does deliver on all of it’s 10 promises to instantly fix your hair (and that includes ALL hair types). It’s a leave-in product used to spray on damp hair, and then style (heat or not) as usual. If you’re not using heat styling, it’s basically the best leave-in conditioner ever. If you’re planning on drying and heat styling your hair, this stuff will basically replace at least 3 of your other products!
Make Up Forever Cream Eyeshadow
Make Up Forever makes the most AMAZING ultra-pigmented, long-lasting waterproof cream cosmetic. They have 22 eyeshadow creams are incredibly lightweight and blend beautifully. The fantastic thing is that once they’re dry they stay put all day — just use a baby wipe or waterproof eyemakeup remover to get it off in the evening.
Big Sexy Hair’s Dry Shampoo
Big Sexy’s Hair Dry Volumizing Shampoo doesn’t leave any white/light residue and it certainly didn’t leave my roots all matte looking. It also delivered on the BIG and VOLUMIZING! The dry shampoo has a light, clean scent that quickly disappeared, taking any of my own hair stinkiness with it. And PS — my hair looks sooooooooo much better on days 2, 3, & 4 – post washing! I cannot recommend this stuff ENOUGH!
Paul Mitchell Spray Wax
Paul Mitchell’s Spray Wax meets the styling product need for piecy looks with lots of movement — it adds shine and separation, but isn’t gummy, sticky, or gives your hair rigor mortis.
Thank you so much for letting my blog be a part of your beauty research arsenal, and for making 2011 my best hairdresser year yet! Happy Holidays, everyone!
